Melanie Sander Wilson is a pint-sized performer of modern music in many incarnations. She sings everything from blues standards to funk, and is known for her sharp comedic wit, showcased in comedy clubs and theatre productions.

Since graduating Adelaide University with a Law/Arts degree majoring in Performing Arts, Mel has graced stages large and small, performing in everything from acapella ensembles, rock bands, duos, and in solo singer/guitarist mode in intimate wine bars and cafes. She has appeared in Fringe festivals, regional music tours, and on the stand-up comedy circuit.

Mel has studied professional radio presentation courses and is frequently invited in for guest spots, including ABC radio (with Jason Chong for Songbird Speed Date), and 3D radio (The Arts Garden). Other adventures include MCing work, voicing advertisements for commercial radio, and writing original songs for SCALA’s (Songwriters, Composers and Lyricists Association) Festival of Original Music.
